Your student recently started a Special Circumstances Appeal Intake form. Once submitted, the Office of Student Finance will review your appeal for consideration. For this process, your STUDENT will receive a separate request to their University email about the additional documentation to support the appeal.
To complete this form, you will need to submit a personal statement with signatures detailing your family's special circumstance(s) and current financial situation. This statement must be hand signed by both you and the student. You must also complete, sign, and submit the Parent Verification Page.
You must complete this form in one sitting. Your data will not be saved if the form times out (after approximately 15 minutes of no activity), or you close your browser. In order to avoid the 15 minute time out, please have your documentation prepared in advance. This form will take approximately 10 minutes to complete if all necessary documentation is ready
In order to maximize your financial aid eligibility, this form should be submitted at least two weeks prior to the end of the term in which you are seeking financial aid. Forms submitted within two weeks of the end of term will be reviewed, but financial aid funds may be limited or no longer available.
